Yes, this is crazy. It's June 2015. I am planning on applying for the Disney College Program Fall Advantage 2016. That is a year from now. I know what you are thinking....why in the world are you starting a blog now? Simple! The DCP is EVERYTHING that I have wanted for years and it is on my mind all of the time. It is always what I am thinking about. I am always reading blogs of those who are going through or have gone through the program. I watch vlogs of people who are there now. I always want to talk about it. My parents and friends have to be sick of listening to me talk about it. That's why I am starting this. Sure, I may not make it into the program. Maybe that would be embarrassing in the future after writing about it. If I don't get in, I'll keep applying until I do. This is everything that I want and I can not wait to shoot for my dreams.

That being said, I thought we might start with an introduction. I'm Kelsey. I am 19 years old. I am from Sarasota, Florida and I am a Disney Addict. My first trip to Disney World was for my 4th birthday. I am a Christmas baby (December 22) so we went early December to avoid crowds. I don't remember a ton of it, but what I do remember is very cool. I remember walking down Main Street with my parents and looking at the holiday decorations while the stage show was going on which is such an amazing memory.

I am lucky enough to live 2 hours from Disney which means I have had the privilege of going to Disney World more times than a lot of people. This year is the first time that I have had an annual pass and I honestly do not think I will ever be able to go back now. It has been the most amazing thing ever to be able to go to my favorite place on earth so many times this year. I am at the beginning of my pass black out right now and it makes me so sad that I won't be able to go back until at least August.

I am a singer. I love music and it is something I hope to do for my whole life. When I was in 9th grade I had the amazing chance to be a part of the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and sing in it. From that day, I have had a goal of someday being part of the Voices of Liberty. It combines the two things that I love the most, Disney and singing.

I am also a YouTuber. I have been making videos for over 7 years and it is a passion of mine. I think it would be amazing to get the chance to continue making videos and vlogging as a part of the DCP someday. That is what I am hoping to do. I have been lucky enough to travel the country for YouTube conventions and have had the chance to perform at them and speak at panels. I love creating content and have no plans to stop any time soon.

I start school in the winter. I was supposed to start this fall but due to some setbacks from a car accident and then surgery, I have had to take a semester off to focus on my health. That is totally okay, it is for the best. I know that applications open in the Spring for Fall and Fall Advantage programs and I will be well on my way to a degree in Business Administration/Marketing by then!

I want to do Fall Advantage because I want my program to last as long as possible. A friend of mine did an Advantage program and then extended. She ended up being there close to a year and I would love the chance to do that.

Call me crazy, but I already know what roles are my top choices, the top places I would want to work and what complex I would want to live in. I am not kidding when I say this has been my dream for a long time.
